At Allerton Bywater Primary School we are passionate about parents and carers being part of school life. We actively encourage parent / carer volunteers and have a regular number of parents who help out in school in many different ways.

We try to keep parents and carers up to date with what is happening in school and send out regular newsletters informing people about what has happened in school. Our newsletters also keep families up to date with dates and events.

Children are collected from their classroom at the end of each day, one of the reasons for this is to give an opportunity for the class teacher to give any messages or praise to whoever is collecting the child. This also gives parents / carers the opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns with the class teacher.

The Headteacher and Learning Mentor are available most mornings and after school to talk to any parents / carers who need to speak to a representative from the school.

The school operates an open door policy. If you have any worries, issues or concerns regarding school please do not hesitate to contact us at anytime. We will always endeavour to work with people to solve whatever the concerns may be.
