Everyone here at ABPS hopes you are all well and coping under these extreme circumstances.
As you may be aware, we are currently welcoming back our Year One and Year Six children into school four days a week. Our key worker provision will continue, but will now be located at Kippax Ash Tree Primary School due to our ongoing roofing works. Please contact us if you need to access this provision.
Our risk assessment for both the wider reopening of school and our Kippax Ash Tree childcare provision can be found here.
We will of course continue to provide home learning for all of our children. This involves a home learning project which you will receive weekly by email, together with daily challenges and messages from teachers via either your Tapestry account (for parents/carers of EYFS children) or your Class Dojo account (for parents/carers of KS1 and KS2 children). Although we may not see your children in school in the upcoming weeks, we do urge you to share your child's home learning with us using these platforms so that your child's teacher can celebrate their successes and give them further support and encouragement.
We also need you to continue to be aware of the importance of internet safety now more than ever. Leeds City Council have issued some online safety advice for parents/carers which you may find useful. You can also visit the ThinkUKnow website for more information.
All school correspondence regarding the school closure and our key worker, Year Six and Year One provision can be found below.
Finally, please take care of yourselves and remember that we are here to support you as best we can.
